A 26-year-old Winter Park woman slammed into a car on her motorcycle last week on University Boulevard, authorities said. She suffered critical injuries in the accident, police said, and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

The motorcyclist was heading east when a westbound vehicle turned into her path, authorities said. The car was driven by a 20-year-old Parkland man, police said. Police cited him for violation of right-of-way.
