A Walt Disney World employee was injured by a Go-Kart Sunday afternoon at the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland Speedway, authorities said. A guest driving a Go-Kart struck the employee, who was taken to the hospital, authorities said.
The Go-Karts are programmed to reach speeds of up to seven miles per hour. The Speedway was temporarily shut down sometime after 1 p.m., but Disney has since reopened the attraction.
