A Walt Disney World bus hit the back of an empty Waldorf Astoria bus Tuesday, authorities said, sending eight to the hospital. The Disney bus driver was trapped behind the wheel and had to be cut out. He suffered serious injuries, authorities said.

The Waldorf bus was stopped because of mechanical difficulties. The driver was outside the bus at the time of the accident and was not injured, authorities said. The accident occurred outside Epcot in the right-hand lane near the parking toll plaza, police said.
