A 65-year-old man who once ran for the Osceola County Commission seat died Saturday when he lost control of his motorcycle. Police say that he and two other men were passing through a construction zone when he hit a concrete barrier and was thrown from his bike. The two men following him collided with him and with each other. They were ejected from their motorcycles as well.
The 65-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other two suffered incapacitating injuries, authorities said.
