An Orange County, Fla. firefighter and five civilians suffered serious injuries when a motorist drove into an existing crash scene Sunday. Paramedics were preparing to take a motorcycle crash victim to the hospital for medical treatment from a wreck involving one other car. Authorities say the fire truck’s position clearly indicated a crash scene, angled to protect the area.

The car swerved onto the crash scene anyway, injuring five in the second crash. The firefighter and one other person were flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
