After a crash that killed a 13-month-old and two other passengers last week, the child’s parents filed a wrongful death suit against the other driver Monday. Police say the 55-year-old was speeding away from another accident when he crashed into the vehicle driven by the child’s father. His only son was ejected from the vehicle and killed. His two other passengers were also killed.
Police charged the 55-year-old in both crashes and issued him five citations. The boy’s parents say that’s not enough. Their attorney said the driver was speeding with his lights off at night in the wrong lanes.
